Faculty member (part-time) doctoral programs

Faculty members will benefit from interesting teaching, research and publication, as well as  training opportunities to improve their teaching skills.

Your responsibilities will be to serve as a doctoral dissertation advisor and an instructor of EQF / MQF level 8 modules in our online doctoral programs. These responsibilities also include to be available for our mostly part-time students outside of the traditional office hours, to give detailed feedback to their submissions, and to help them to graduate successfully.

Your required qualifications are:

  • Doctoral degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution
  • Proof of serving as a doctoral dissertation advisor and graduating doctoral students
  • Record of publications in peer-reviewed academic journals
  • Experience working in an online instructional setting
  • Experience in qualitative or quantitative research
  • Excellent communication, team participation, and human relation skills
  • Ability to mentor and motivate (part-time) adult learners in an online learning environment

Your responsibilities will be to serve as an instructor of EQF / MQF level 7 modules and as a thesis advisor in our online MBA program. These responsibilities also include to be available for our mostly part-time students outside of the traditional office hours, to give detailed feedback to their submissions, and to help them to graduate successfully.

  • Postgraduate or doctoral degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution
  • Proof of serving as a (a-)synchronous online instructor and master thesis advisor for at least 3-5 years
  • Practical management experience of at least five years
  • Excellent communication, team participation, and human relation skills
  • Ability to mentor and motivate (part-time) adult learners in an online learning environment

Program coordinator (part-time)

Program coordinators at EIM have a strong desire to work with students and faculty to help make both of them successful. They will benefit from and help creating an inspiring teaching and learning environment to improve learning experiences and outcomes.

As a Program Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for tracking all enrollment information materials for our students. You will be a main point of contact for our students, answering questions prior to and during the program, assisting with technology issues during online programs and organizing online events.

You will prepare and distribute course materials. You will work directly with our program faculty to coordinate the program schedule, advance readings and handouts, post materials on the course webpage and manage the online classroom media needs. You will support the faculty in setting up the classroom and the assessments.

You will assist in program close-out and reconciliation activities, including the faculty and student surveys, and the submission of financial documentation in support of all program activities. You may participate in program accreditation activities as needed including but not limited to site visits, application writing, program improvements, and data collection, and may perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary.

  • Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or Higher Education from an accredited institution
  • Experience working in an administrative role in an online instructional setting in Higher Education
  • Excellent communication, team participation, and human relation skills
  • Ability to mentor and motivate (part-time) adult learners in an online learning environment
  • Ability to learn and understand compliance with legal, financial, student affairs and university policies and external regulations
  • Ability to work with adult learners with variable skill levels, various learning styles as well as diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
