Life can change and many events in your personal or professional life can prevent or postpone your graduation with a DBA or PhD in Management degree. According to a recent study by the Council of Graduate Schools, you are not alone and many who left their programme struggle to join another one due to a limited transferability of their credits. The Dissertation Completion Pathway is not a separate doctoral degree. It is an admissions and progression pathway for suitable candidates who have completed substantial prior doctoral-level work elsewhere (e.g., all but dissertation) and who may be admitted to one of EIM's doctoral programs after RPL assessment.

As part of our recognition of prior learning (RPL) policy, our dissertation completion pathway may allow you to transfer credits which you have already earned. We use an Oxford-style teaching and learning method where teaching and learning happens in small groups or one-on-one sessions to focus on your individual needs. Our online course delivery with asynchronous and synchronous elements helps you to schedule your learning flexibly and integrate your studies seamlessly in your private and professional life.
How does an online dissertation completion pathway programme work?
As part of our recognition of prior learning (RPL) policy, our dissertation completion pathway may allow you to transfer credits which you have already earned. You will join either our PhD or DBA programme to succeed in your doctoral degree and finally finish it.
Send a valid transcript from your previous doctoral programme, the status of your dissertation, and a current CV to our admissions office together with the other required documents to start the RPL process.
Once you are admitted into our dissertation completion pathway, you will be introduced to your dissertation committee. Our dissertation advisors are experienced in working with ABD students, and are experts in your dissertation topic and research methodology.
Your dissertation committee will guide you through our dissertation process starting with your prospectus followed by the proposal and your final dissertation. It provides you with the tools, the resources, and the flexibility (full-time or part-time option) to continue your DBA or PhD studies according to your study plan.
